Let it Snow, let it Snow, let it snow,   Conditions for the 2008 Challenge could not have been more different from the scorching sun of last years event. Although its not that big a suprise as its was almost a repeat of the 2006 weather.

A wet and sleety start soon gave way to a nice white covering on the ground as the compeditors made their climb up to the Chimney. The cold conditions did make the going a little firmer under foot than some years, with the bogs up to Black hill a little more like a "brown slush puppy" than the usual plodge.
