The North of Tyne Search & Rescue Team is a registered charity.
Charity commission registration number 1003956.
We rely entirely on charitable donation to fund our operation. All team members give their time free of charge and pay their own travelling and equipment expenses. The teams annual running costs are around £12000, this is mainly vehicles running costs and maintenance or replacement of equipment. Having just replaced our ageing landrover we now need to start fund raising towards the replacement of our LDV control vehicle.
How You Can Help
Donate Online
You can make a donation online to the team via the secure facilities of any of these charitable giving organisations. Click on the logos to the right to access their sites. Most major credit cards are accepted and you can opt to remain anonymous if you wish.
Send A Cheque
You can make a donation to the team by sending a cheque payable to "North Of Tyne Search & Rescue Team" to

Gift Aid
If you or your business, are making a donation to the team, and pay UK tax. Then you can ask the tax man to give us upto an extra 28% on your donation, just by sending us a giftaid declaration.

Use the team online shop. the team receive a commision on every purchase made via our Buy.At shop. Loads of big name companies. Amazon, John Lewis, M&S, Field&Trek ...
You get guaranteed same price as direct with the company, we get up to 10% commision, but you must go via our shop.
Host a Collection Box
If you run a pub, restaurant, or shop within the teams area, you could have a team collection box. We will empty it regularly and let you know how much its taken.
Sponsor The Team
If you run a business you could sponsor some element of the teams operation, donate equipment or services, or give the team discounts on purchases. We will carry sponsors logos on our equipment or vehicles if the deal is right.
