The North of Tyne Search & Rescue Team is a registered charity.
Charity commission registration number 1003956.
We rely entirely on charitable donation to fund our operation. All team members give their time free of charge and pay their own travelling and equipment expenses.
The teams annual running costs are around £12000,
this is mainly vehicles running costs and maintenance or replacement of equipment.
Having just replaced our ageing landrover we are now urgently trying to raise funds to replace our LDV incident control vehicle which recently suffered a
terminal mechanical failure after many years of service with our team and previously with Edale MRT.
The estimated cost for a simple replacement vehicle is around £36000, idealy we would like to go beyond a simple replacement and provide a state of the art Mobile Control, this will push the price towards £46000, which is a massive sum to try and raise at short notice. Please help in any way you can.

Host a Collection Box
If you run a pub, restaurant, or shop within the teams area, you could have a team collection box. We will empty it regularly and let you know how much its taken.

If you run a business you could sponsor some element of the teams operation, donate equipment or services, or give the team discounts on purchases. We will carry sponsors logos on our equipment or vehicles if the deal is right.
