03 Feb 2008 Allotment House, Weardale
The team was called out on Sunday 3rd Feb to assist TWSMRT clear specific areas for a missing male who had been missing for several days. He had last been sighted on the hills above Weardale. The team sent 10 members who where joined by 5 from the NNPMRT to searched our given area with no result. Our efforts where apreciated by both Durham police and TWSMRT.Conditions: Daylight, bright but cold with stiff breeze.
30 Dec 2007 Border Ridge, Lamb Hill
Team contacted at around 1730 by the Police who had received a phone call from a walker in the Cheviots. The walker had become disorientated in poor visibility but thought he was somewhere near the Border Ridge on the English side between the Refuge Hut near Lamb Hill and Mozie Law. After being located by search dogs, the walker was given a hot drink and walked down safely from the hill.Conditions: Dark, cold & foggy with light rain,
